Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RestoryDocs (the "Service"), operated at restorydocs.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

RestoryDocs is an AI-assisted damage documentation tool for restoration, roofing, water, and fire-damage contractors. You upload job photos and the Service generates a damage narrative and a branded PDF based on what is visible in those photos. Output is assistive only — you, your contractor, or a licensed adjuster remain solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and using any generated content.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in email and any session tokens. Notify us immediately at support@restorydocs.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Subscription & billing

The Service is offered on a flat monthly subscription. Current pricing is displayed on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically every month until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

A fair-use soft cap applies at approximately 120 jobs per month. Users who exceed this threshold are automatically served by a lower-cost AI model tier for the remainder of the billing cycle to protect service economics; we do not hard-block usage.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to photos, narratives, PDFs, and other content you upload or generate using the Service ("Your Content"). You grant RestoryDocs a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — including sending photos and metadata to our AI provider(s) for damage analysis and narrative generation. We do not sell Your Content, train models on Your Content, or share Your Content with third parties except as required to operate the Service or comply with law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload photos or content you do not have the right to process, including photos containing personally identifiable information of people who have not consented
• Use the Service to generate fraudulent insurance claims, fabricate damage, or misrepresent job sites
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, abuse rate limits, or otherwise interfere with the Service
• Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions, with or without notice.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

RestoryDocs uses large language models and vision models that may produce errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You must review every narrative, scope item, and PDF before submitting to an insurance carrier, adjuster, or any third party. We make no representation that generated content is complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular claim. You remain solely responsible for the contents of submissions you make to insurance carriers.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, RestoryDocs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall RestoryDocs, its owners, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or claims, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid RestoryDocs in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms at this URL and update the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of residence of RestoryDocs' operator, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
